The course was attended by 36 participants from 14 countries (Denmark, Sweden, Germany, UK, Belgium, France, Italy, Portugal, Brasil, USA, Canada, Malaysia, Japan and China); this included 9 Danes. Industrial participation consisted of researchers from Volvo and EADS. Also, a representative from FE-Design (Germany) gave a presentation on industrial use of topology design.

About the course in 2003:

The course was attended by 28 participants from 13 countries (Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Austria, UK, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Japan and Korea); this included 9 Danes and 13 partcipants connected to the HMS2000 project. Industrial participation consisted of researchers from Volvo, Vestas Wind Systems, Grundfos, Toyota, and EADS. Also, a representative from Altair gave a presentation on industrial use of topology design.
